Found an American-ish restaurant today. Became the go-to place to eat at since it was right next to the store. Had a fun modern pub type feel.

One Hundred Twenty | Stairway to kindness

I do not know this man's story. Even if he wanted to tell me, I would not have been able to understand. What I do know is, that he has been through a harder life than most of would ever know. He sits here at the entrance to the Jing'an Temple Subway station, homeless, and hungry. Thousands, if not millions pass by him each day. Katie and I would have passed by him as if he was any other homeless person in China, but we noticed something that just touched our heart. This man had once been burned, head to toe. He had burn marks on every inch of skin you could see. He had no fingers, just a few nubs on what hands he had. We went and bought him crackers and water. He said many things, but all we could understand was "Xie Xie", which is Chinese for Thank You, and he repeated it many times. I hope he receives random acts of kindness more than what we think he would receive.

This is where I sat at Wanvog working my butt off.....Just kidding, I did not sit here...there is a lot of amazing work that does happen here though! Hats off to all those who work at Wanvog!

Traditional Chinese...this wasn't too bad, had a little kick to it! The chicken head still attached to the body was a little creepy! Unfortunately, didn't have a very clear picture of that.

We arrived in Shanghai-Pudong Airport. Waited until all the bags went by, and our decals we shipped were not to be found. So, as we went searching, we were routed to the over-sized baggage claim. And all by its lonesome, we found our decals!

It was my first "official" beach day of the year! (I went back in February with my parents, but we didn't stay long and didn't tan...so, that doesn't count!) I didn't bring my camera with me today...didn't really feel like dealing with the sand. So, this was from my camera on my phone...It was a nice beach day, burned my feet though :(

Worked on a photo shoot today for the new China website. Loved working with the photographer...stressed me out a lot more than I thought it would, but overall it was a great experience!

Eighty Nine | Interesting China Experience

Not quite the experience any of us were thinking of coming to China, nor one that anyone would want. Poor Amber got really sick about half way through our trip...luckily we got her to the hospital in time, because she had Cellulitis.

Hospitals suck, whether you are in the US or in China! I went with her to get one of her IV's. I'm glad she didn't have to be admitted to the hospital, but wanted to keep her company while she got her meds.

When you go to a Chinese restaurant that has no English on their menu and no one who speaks English, you really rely on pictures for what you want to order. Well, this time it didn't work out so well for me...thought we were ordering green beans...turns out that it was hot peppers. Yikes!
