Sixty | Shamrock!

I found out today that I am going to China for a month! So, that means I am not taking my test in March...which means I can cut back from studying a little bit and relax. And it means I will be missing out on St. Patty's day...so I felt like I needed a Shamrock Shake!! Yum Yum...I enjoyed it by my lake :)

Fifty Eight | Unexpected

Went to the pharmacy to get a prescription, and I had to wait 15 minutes...oh the damage you can do in 15 minutes! I hate went you go in for one thing and you come out with 20! Ugh...all things that I need or wanted for awhile...so, I guess it was worth it.

This was my lovely dinner tonight :) Lol...I've been studying all day, and realized at 9 that I hadn't ate supper yet. So nachos it was...true Wisconsin girl with all that cheese! :)

Fifty Six | Duke

I was over at my friend, Kristen's house...this is her puppy Duke. It's near impossible to get him sitting still...he loves to get really close to you for hugs and kisses and treats of course. This was probably the best I got of him.

I tried to study after work tonight. Still not feeling well, and I just couldn't concentrate. So, I decided it was movie night!

I stayed home from work today. Woke up feeling like someone used my head as a punching bag...ugh! This was my only venture outside today...a trip to the mailbox. Fun stuff.

I feel like crud! Ugh...sick after a vacation. Hope the Zicam, Neti pot, and some Emergen C can help kick it...I don't want to go to the doctor!

Fifty One | Monkey Business

Today, my parents and I went to the zoo :) I love animals! The Tampa zoo has tons of monkeys...this little guy was so adorable! I just loved him!

Fifty | Velvet Birthday

It's my Birthday :) Went to Datz Cafe for brunch today and had these delicious DELICIOUS pancakes. Red Velvet! Red Velvet is my absolute favorite, in just about anything.

And since it's my bday, I thought I would add some extra shots, just for fun :)

Forty Nine | Universal

Sorry for not posting yesterday! My parents and I went to Universal Studios yesterday, and we were there all day. It was so much fun. We spent most of the morning in the Islands of Adventure side, and went to the Universal Studios side later in the afternoon...and we got to see a Mardi Gras parade and Kelly Clarkson perform that night! It was fun :)

This was at the Harry Potter park, of course! I love this place...I'm such a nerd!

Forty Eight | You looking at me?

Went to the Florida State Fair today with my parents...it was not the nicest day. Started out with scattered showers, and then it poured on us for quite awhile! While we were trying to stay dry in one of the buildings...we ran into this big fella! It's a Watusi....poor guy has to go through life with those big ass horns on his head. I was taking some pictures of him, and I don't think he liked it...he eventually tried to come at me!

Forty Seven | Oh so close...

My parents are here! Yay! We headed over to the beach right away today. A tad bit cloudy, but still got a little sun. I took some really fun pics, sadly without my Nikon :( I sent away to get fixed (had a minor accident...sad!) So, for a few weeks all my pics will be from my Canon PowerShot! Anyways, I had to chose this one, because I thought this guy was funny. He dragged his canoe all the way out and just sat there for awhile. Taking a break? He eventually went into the water, but I wasn't quite sure what he was doing....modeling for me? Maybe ;)

I had my "birthday" at work today. I'll be gone from work for a few days, so I got to celebrate early....with a game of pin the tail :) You gotta love a $1 game to make us all feel like kids again! Thanks Dina!

Forty Four | Cold Toes

It's been quite cold over the last weekend...and even though it was warmer today, my apartment is still a little chilly. My poor toes are cold! So they have been sticking with the sock monkeys all weekend!

It's been a long weekend of reading, highlighting, writing, falling asleep, and reading some more...

The only thing getting me through is some yummy snacks and occasional caffeine (trying not to revert back to the same consumption of caffeine that I had in college!)...

And yes...to the right of the cookies, those are stacks of flash cards. Colored being the ones I've purchased, white being the ones I made myself! And still more chapters to get through. I am pretty proud of myself though. As I take a break to post on Sunday at 5pm, I have read 7 chapters and taken notes on about half. My goal is to read 3 more chapters tonight. Probably won't get to anymore note taking, my arm muscles hurt! lol

Took a little road trip today. Had to run some errands for work, and we made a pit stop at Crate and Barrel along the way. I saw these decorative wood balls, and loved the shadows they were making.

Was kinda nice to get out of the office, made the day go by fast...

These are tracks that I pass over all the time, pretty much to go anywhere outside of my apartment and work. I didn't want to cook tonight, so I headed over to Subway and decided to make a quick pit stop at the tracks.
