I know I have had a lot of landscape photos lately...sorry, spending nights at home studying doesn't make for the most interesting pictures. Trying to find the beauty in what I see everyday.

I'm a day late...sorry, but I was away from my computer all day yesterday. I was at Gasparilla...which is a pirate parade in Tampa. It gets a little crazy, people dressing up like pirates...a lot of fun to be had. This is just one of the many, many vendors lining the streets.

The one thing that I love about living in Florida is that January never feels like the January's that I grew up with in Wisconsin. But, I have to say...never love the gloomy days...blah! Here's to a gloomy January day with no snow :)

If you have never been to Florida, then you may have never seen these type of moss before....well, I am sure it is other places besides Florida where you can find it, but anyway....

I love this...so, I was just trying to take a picture of these berries on these shrubs outside my apartment....but, when I looked at the photo later, you can see a spider web on the lower left. I love finding surprises in photos :)

Twenty Four | Skylight

So, I work in an office, in a cubicle no where near windows...but, today I spent a lot of time in the room that has the roof access hatch, and the air conditioner guy was there to work on it...so, I get to see a little natural light for a few hours.

I tried my best to get both the sky and the stairs in focus. Not sure if anyone would have any type of advice as to how I could have made this picture better....I would definitely appreciate some insight on how to do it correctly.

Twenty Three | Flash

My stack of flash cards...sorry, nothing too exciting today. I'm studying for the NCIDQ exam...which is the exam for Interior Designers to get their license. It is at the end of March, so unfortunately...there may be many more boring study pictures to come.

Nineteen | Consumed...

My day was consumed in cut sheets. I won't bore you with the details...probably the only nice thing was that I got to get away from my desk for the day and blare music, instead of wearing head phones. Probably the only bonus. Good times at Ashley Furniture.

Yep, my day was pretty uneventful! I took this photo to be funny...but, turns out that it is all I really have for the day...

So, as you can see this was my mid afternoon snack at work today :) At least I was playing with my manual settings :)

As I walked out of work tonight, I saw how the sunset was hitting this tree, and I thought it looked really pretty.

It's hard to find trees that change color compared to the midwest, where I am from...and it's also kind of funny to see that the leaves changed, but are still on in January!

My parents sent me a bunch of my childhood ornaments for Christmas, since I wasn't able to go home this year.

This was always a fave...me at my finest. But, I packed the ornaments away today, until next Christmas.
